The year is 1973. A scientist is working feverishly on the crazy idea of harnessing the sun's energy . His faithful assistant, Kailash ( Dharam) believes in the same dream. Dharam is also in love with the lovely Asha ( Rakhee), who is betrothed to another , Jeeva ( Sinha) . Now the twists come fast and thick, with international intrigue, double-crosses and lying hearts. Yet at the core, the film is a sweet love story and a thriller that is one of Vijay Anand's best.
